A little more about us

Ideally situated alongside the Trent & Mersey canal on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border, 2 miles from the historic Little Moreton Hall and easily accessible by road from any direction. We are a family friendly pub which is popular with walkers, boaters, locals and passers-by. We pride ourselves on producing food of the highest quality, catering for all tastes with a varied selection of classic British dishes along with some contemporary favourites and a large selection of fish specials. Wherever possible, we aim to support our community by sourcing our ingredients locally. Enjoy great wholesome homecooked food with restaurant seating for up to 55 indoors and 60 outdoors, weather permitting. Our beer garden is lockside with fantastic views along the canal, here you can while away the hours watching the narrow boats sail by. In the bar you'll find a good selection of beers and wines. As well as the usual offerings, we have some fine guest ales for you to try out. Upstairs, we have a function room that can cater for parties of up to 40 and we can provide a full catering service, whatever the event. Due to Current government guide lines we are now operating a one entrance, one exit system at the Red Bull. Entrance will be through the door at the rear of the pub leading onto the car park and exit will be through the front door. Wheelchair access will be through the front door. Due to the limited amount of space, only one customer per group who are using the beer garden can come into the pub place and pay for their order. We have a private room available for larger parties.
