Beer gardenWe welcome you to take advantage of our well-kept beer and fresh, home cooked pub food. Our real fire is a real draw, whether toasting your toes in colder months, or drying out after Lakeland showers. Walkers and cyclists enjoy the pub and often use the pub car park as a start/finish point for their days out. We can provide games and crayons and (whispers) free Wi-Fi to keep your young ones quietly entertained and are dog friendly. We have two large TV screens showing both Sky Sports and BT Sports, a major feat for any a small village pub like ourselves. One of these is placed in our brand-new sports room, which is secluded upstairs. Here we have a pool table and darts board as well as tables, sofas and of course the large TV with live sports. Why not take a peek at the skull in the cupboard!? Found in the ground during renovations in 1995, it is uncertain exactly to whom this skull belonged!
